Sanaka Sanandana Theertham is a spiritually revered and scenic waterfall in Tirumala, named after the sages Sanaka and Sanandana. According to legend, these sages once attempted to enter Vaikuntam to have darshan of Lord Vishnu. However, they were stopped at the entrance by the guards Jaya and Vijaya, leading the sages to curse them. The guards were then born as demons on earth for three lifetimes before returning to Vaikuntam.

The waters of this theertham are believed to possess divine and yogic powers. Devotees who take a holy dip, especially during the Margazhi month, are said to be purified and blessed with good fortune. The refreshing cascade and lush green surroundings make it a breathtaking location, especially during the rainy season.
